Mrs. Jane came over on Monday to do school with us and we died egg shells for eggshell mosaics.
Here's how we did it
1. We saved egg shells for a few months and drew a picture that we would later fill in with died egg shells
2. Once we had plenty of egg shells we broke them into pieces between 1/2 an inch to 1 inch big.
You don't want them to be to small because then they're allot harder to work
with.
3. We decided how much of each color we would need and divided the eggshells into
different piles then then we spread them out on card board and then set them out to dry overnight.
we mixed a bit of water with food icing or food coloring and died the egg shells4. We glue our pictures to mat board and then once that glue dries we glued the eggshells to the mat board
